New World Update 3.0.3 : Weapon Changes Unsheathed

New World Update 3.0.3

Welcome to the latest scoop on New World Update 3.0.3, where we break down the changes faster than a hatchet-wielding berserker in a forest of paper-thin trees. Let's dive into the weapon changes that are shaking up Aeternum like a Dryad rave party.

1. Blunderbuss:

  • Base Damage: Increased by 3.75% in PvE, but reduced in PvP by an additional 3.62% to keep PvP damage consistent.

  • Last Chance Passive: Fortify reduced from 50% to 30%.

  • On A Roll Passive: Each stack now has its own unique duration.

  • Primary Fire: Damage coefficient reduced from 23% per pellet to 21% per pellet.

  • ASB: Damage reduced from 50% per pellet to 45% per pellet.

2. Life Staff:

  • Splash Of Light: Radius reduced from 100m to 25m. (Because apparently, healing the entire map was a bit too generous.)

3. Void Gauntlet:

  • Void Blade: Duration limit removed. Now remains active until the weapon becomes inactive. (It's like the Energizer Bunny of weapons now.)

Artifacts and Perks Adjustments:

  • Scorpion's Sting: Sting Perk now increases cooldown by 50% upon use.

  • Lost Stopwatch: Duration increase changed from 100% to a flat 1s increase, with damage reduction trade-off increased from 5% to 10%.

  • Odo: Updated functionality to include that the damage bonus applies to knocked down targets.

  • Disease Status Effects: All Player Diseases now add an outgoing healing penalty equal to half of the incoming healing reduction.

  • Plagued Crits: Removed health requirement, can now be refreshed while active.

  • Plagued Strikes: Can now be refreshed while active.

  • Shirking Heals: Cooldown increased from 5s to 10s.

  • Slash/Physical Ward/Absorptions: Updated to include bleed damage as part of slash damage.

  • Exhaustive Net Shot: Duration reduced from 8s to 4s.

Other Noteworthy Changes:

  • Turkey Terror Returns: The feathered avenger of death, Turkulon, is back. Time to hunt or be hunted!

  • In-Game Store Updates: New skins and bundles, including the Knightsbane Legion and Black Friday bundles. (Because who doesn't like to look fabulous while battling eldritch horrors?)

  • PvP Reward Track Named Items: Fixed issues with certain named PvP item upgrades. New versions added with a 5th generated Perk.

Final Thoughts:

So, there you have it, brave adventurers of Aeternum! Update 3.0.3 is like a mixed bag of tricks and treats, with weapon changes that might make you feel like you're learning to dance a new step in the middle of a battlefield. Whether you're a healer mourning your lost radius or a Blunderbuss enthusiast enjoying your new damage, there's something in this update for everyone.

Remember, in the ever-changing world of New World, adaptability is your best weapon. So, sharpen those skills, adjust your strategies, and maybe give Turkulon a wide berth unless you're in the mood for a turkey chase.

Stay alert, stay alive, and may your loot be epic!
